Practical training

The goal of the practical training is the mastery of the gyroplane and the ability to make the right decision in any situation, even in emergency situations.
The practical training includes (§42 LuftPersV):

At least 30 flying hours on the gyroplane, of which:
  •  > 10 hours with flight instructor
  •  > 5 hours solo flight
  •  > 150 take-offs and landings at different airfields
  •  > 20 solo takeoffs and landings
  •  > 2 cross-country flights with flight instructor (> 200 km with stopover)
  •  > 3 solo cross-country flights (> 50 km with stopover)
  •  Field landing exercises with flight instructor
